Where did December go? Hope everyone had a great Christmas and Holidays. Now it's time to start another year....2020. I do like the sound of it.
"Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face, the beauty of the earth and skies that man has inherited, and the wealth and confusion that man has created. It is a major force in explaining man to man." -- Edward Steichen

From Photograph to Pillow
The photo on the left was originally shot in color. The center tulip was a light yellow, the other two were white and there were dark green leaves. I converted the photo to black and white in order to create a design for a pillow on Zazzle.
Here is a copy of the image on the throw pillow. If you want to see the product itself, check it out at Zazzle - Designs by Peggie.

Foggy Vermont Morning
Spent a few days last weekend with friends in an RV in Vermont. This was our view when we awoke on Sunday. The fog had moved in overnight and the sun was just beginning to rise. This foggy sunrise was just spectacular and one not soon forgotten.

ON A BEAUTIFUL SUMMER DAY
On a recent trek from the South Shore up to the North Shore of Massachusetts for a scallop plate lunch at Woodman's of Essex, we drove back over the Zakim Bridge. I don't think I'll ever become tired of the simplicity and beauty of this bridge.

Spring Frost
It's the last week of April. Spring is blossoming in all its colorful glory. We all expect the weather to be warm, but Nature has other ideas. This morning as I brought out rubbish to the barrels I noticed this lovely pattern on the roof of my car.
The pattern looks like an alien world complete with mountains, ridges and valleys; except that it was totally flat on the car. Nature never ceases to amaze us with its never-ending matchless creations.
