In January 2008 I was fortunate enough to take a trip to Rome, Italy. For fun, we arranged a one-day trip to Florence. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful the country and the people are. Oh, but the food, it is exquisite. Today I used some new software on one of my favorite pictures of the Arno River in Florence and this is the result.
This view of Florence is magnificent. Besides the wonderful slow curve of the Arno leading you into and through the picture, the reflections in the water make this shot truly special.
