"Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face, the beauty of the earth and skies that man has inherited, and the wealth and confusion that man has created. It is a major force in explaining man to man." -- Edward Steichen

Memorial Day in Boston
Spent a fun afternoon in Boston today with a friend. This Memorial Day could not have been more perfect weather-wise, just a delight to walk around and take photos. This photo was taken in Boston Common. There were 33,000 flags representing the 33,000 soldiers who have lost their lives in the wars. It was an absolutely stunning sight; and, at the same time, very sad to think that each one represented the loss of an individual's life.
