More good news! Entered two images in the 16th Annual Quincy ArtsFest and both won an award! I'm on a roll lately and very thankful for it.
The black and white image, titled "From the Ashes, was taken at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City, was awarded an Honorable Mention in the B&W category.
The color image at right, "Mystical" won a Second Place in the Color Category.The 16th Annual Quincy ArtsFest 2013 is being held on September 21 and 22 at the Quincy Park & Recreation Department, One Merrymount Parkway in Quincy. On exhibit are color and black and white photography, along with media categories oil and acrylic, drawing and pastel, watercolor, mixed media, collage, printmaking, sculpture and clay. There are also crafters!
