World Wide Photo Walk
Last weekend I participated in my first "World Wide Photo Walk", an idea conceived by world-renowned photographer, Scott Kelby. Check out his posts on the event. Since I live in Massachusetts I signed up for the Boston Back Bay Photo Walk, led by Larry Fay, President of the South Shore Camera Club. There were about 30 "walking photographers" and we strolled around an overcast Boston for about four hours. It was a terrific afternoon!

Award-Winning "Schooner Race"
This month, August 2011, I participated in the Marina Bay Arts Affair Fair in Quincy, MA. I was thrilled to learn that one of my entries, "Schooner Race" was judged a third place winner in photography. This is the second time this photo has been awarded a ribbon. At the Massasoit 3rd Annual Arts Fair in May 2011, the photograph was judged a 2nd Place winner.
